We had a very relaxing time staying with Kevin & Lorraine at their superb B&B and having the Sale Loft as our base for a couple of days was great and the Bed was so comfortable. We stayed at the Boathouse in late November at very short notice. From the booking process over the phone with Kevin to the immediate friendly welcome from Lorraine, the delicious breakfast and the great local knowledge, we decided that we'd definitely stay again if we ever get the opportunity. We were offered the spacious Sail Loft, a detached converted building with a spacious and comfortable bedroom upstairs with a cosy shower room downstairs. You get the feeling you're in your very own place, a very cottagey feel and the bed was ridiculously comfy! It's nice and close to loads of places to eat which cater for all taste buds and budgets, and it's only a 5 minute drive from a cinema complex and more restaurants on the very outskirts of Chichester. We found it very handy for day trips into Portsmouth for shopping! Overall, a very nice place, our room was exceptionally clean and we were treated more like house guests than paying visitors adding to the homely feel. For us, the nicest touch was the bottle of wine and mince pies placed in our room after we told them we would have to leave before breakfast on the Monday to go to work! Many thanks Kevin and Lorraine. Keep up the good work!

Our 3 night stay was wonderful - the room/decor was of a really high standard and yet it's always the little things that count I feel - like the kind of bathroom toiletries that you just forgot to pack but see sitting in the bathroom, the outdoor private decking and seating, the fridge........................ I truly appreciated your beautiful garden and the effort involved to keep it looking so lovely. I say effort but I don't think Lorraine finds it too much of a chore does she - she has a real passion for it. Breakfast was delicious and I loved the variety of fruits in your fruit salad each morning. Nothing was too much trouble and thank you for toasting me a delicious crust each morning! Finally we thoroughly enjoyed the area and exploring Chichester, West Wittering, Portsmouth and Brighton and the Seven Sisters. We didn't quite manage everything on our to do list so hope to return later in the year. Thank you so much for the lovely time we have had here in The Boathouse. So easy access for a disabled person and you have been so helpful and friendly to us.

What A Find!! We have had a lovely stay and only wish we could stay longer. The website is good but does not do justice to these beautiful rooms and the deck & garden. The beds are divine and the little touches, such as folding down and lighting candles make this so much more a boutique hotel than a B&B!! We also ate here. Lorraine prepared a super meal and even whipped up a last minute request for an apple crumble from my 10 year old Son!!! The Family Suite is perfect and we will be back!! Thank you so much!!

The rooms are sumptious and Lorraine certainly does have 'an eye' for detail & decor. Then theres the bed - I slept for the first time in 5 weeks. As I sit here writing this I'm still wondering if I could have got it in our car.   I came here on Friday in need of R&R and I leave here one very relaxed, re-juvinated happy person.   Kevin & Loraine, thank you - you are truly special people, we appreciated everything you did, we will be back.
